Regular  public ( walk-in) hours start on June 8th, 2024. No reservations needed.

ON_SITE GROUP PROGRAMS

School, Scout, Daycare, Camp, etc. fieldtrips are available from May through early June  every week day , and Tuesday and Wednesday  from June10th through  August 25th. We accomidate only one group at a time, our calendar fills fast, if you want to save a date, please contact us soon.

Evening group times are available for Scout programs, Red Hat groups, Senior Centers and special events.

About the Butterfly Lady - Mari Gruber

Mari received the Educator of the Year Award in 2011 from the Carbon County Conservation District in recognition of her outstanding commitment to Environmental Education and Stewardship of the Natural World.

Butterflies 101 Programs

We are offering group programs both on-site and away starting in early May and running through late August.  Due to circumstances  beyond our control, we cannot book groups earlier than May 2024. Please note that we are already locking in dates for  field trips May and early June  2024 . Don’t get left out, contact us soon.

Onsite Programs at the Sanctuary

Reserved-space On-site programs May through early June can be reserved on any week day . June-Aug.  are on Tuesday and Wednesday  starting around 10:00 Am and ending about 1:00.

It’s really never too early to get on the master calendar. Keep in mind we do a fantastic early September in-school program on butterfly migration.

 

Public Hours

Special public/charity event May 25th, 26th, 27th  11-5 Then starting Sat. June 8th, regular walk-in hours are : Thursday through Monday 11-5 , Tuesday and Wednesday  2-6                         NO RESERVATIONS NEEDED

Butterfly School 101

  • Wonderful age appropriate butterfly video
